Sectional 4-H Conferences

Each of the four California 4-H sections hosts an annual teen conference. These conferences engage 4-Hers in learning opportunities and workshops, increasing their leadership, citizenship, and public speaking abilities. They also include fun recreational and social activities that allow 4-H members to network with those outside their region.

From Red Bluff: On Antelope Blvd. turn onto Hwy 36 EAST towards Mineral. Continue past Dale’s Station, Paynes Creek and onto Mineral (about 40 miles). In Mineral, you can take a right turn onto to Hwy 172 to Mill Creek . . . it is a shorter distance but a windy road. Camp Tehama is less then two miles on your left past Mill Creek Resort.

Afterglow WHY Conference 2011

North Central Section: Creating a Leader (CAL)

North Central Section: Sonoma, Marin, San Mateo, San Francisco, Santa Clara, Alameda, Contra Costa, Solano, Napa, Yolo, Sacramento, San Joaquin, Calaveras, Amador, El Dorado

The theme for CAL Conference 2012 is: Where Leaders Get Discovered, with a Hollywood Theme! The cost of CAL this year is $150 ($160 with a t-shirt), and will be held January 27, 28, and 29, 2012. Completed applications, medical forms, a signed code of conduct, and a check payable to your county are due to your County Extension Office by November 19, 2011.
