Please Note: Neither CA OMK nor the volunteer partners that we recruit provide child care. We check to see if local/regional partners are available to provide a “learning activity” for children and youth at your event. Completing this request does not guarantee support for your event.

If you have a flyer for your event, please upload prior to submitting your survey. You can also upload other files, including directions, schedule/agenda, etc.

The California Operation: Military Kids Project requires that all volunteer partners be treated with dignity, respect and appreciation. We ask that you provide a meal for volunteers if they assist you for more than 4 hours. Please provide bottled water to the volunteers.

Volunteers are asked to bring “learning activities” to the event but all other materials, tables, chairs, etc. should be provided by you, the host.

Requests for assistance must be submitted to us at least 30 days in advance.

In most cases we will respond to your request within 5 days.

Please tell us about the type of assistance being requested. I.e. educational activities, Mobile Technology Lab, Tech Discovery Tool Kit, etc. We do not provide childcare.

If your needs for our assistance differ from the start and end time of your event, please tell us here. (I.e start time is 8 AM but you do not need volunteers until 11 AM, etc)
