4-H Citizenship Framework

California 4-H offers a framework for civic engagement/citizenship work. This work could be done within any 4-H project or a group could participate in a dedicated citizenship project.

The Citizenship Five Focus Areas include:

Personal Development and Self Esteem
History and Cultural Heritage
Government Studies and Leadership
Environmental Issues
Investigate Societal Concerns and the Citizen's Role
