International Education

2012 Program

Are you interested in traveling with 4-H to Japan for an international exchange?  2012 is an outbound year for California 4-H.  4-H members (ages 14 to 18) and volunteer leaders are invited to travel to Japan on one of two outbound programs.

A four week home-stay with a Labo family with a child of the same gender and within two years of age.  Placement could be anywhere in Japan. July 11 to August 9

An eight week program with one month participating in the Nihongo Language Program in the Tokyo area followed by placement with a second family for a one month home-stay. June 13 - August 9
