Wildlife Project: Dedicated to enhancing youth’s interest in the natural world.

In 2008, 4-H adult volunteer leaders identified the need for a 4-H “Wildlife Project” in Modoc County. Youth members, ages 9-13, learn hands on science-based activities around the topics of habitats, wildlife surveys, animal population/management, nest productivity, watersheds, soils, mammals and wetlands.

Drew, Los Padres 4-H Club

Drew loves rocketry! He attended the County-Wide Aerospace Campout where he learned about many aspects of space and technology and got to participate in hands-on activities. He got to launch multiple rockets at the Endeavor Center.
