Hi 4-H

Sponsored by each County 4-H Office and/or County 4-H Leaders' Council (VMO)

Many counties have a countywide program exclusively for high school 4-H members called Hi 4-H. In some counties the name differs, such as Teen Council. The program is typically an optional group that high school 4-H members can join. Most Hi 4-H programs have one or two meetings per month and may focus their activities on:

  • Community service locally, statewide, nationally and globally
  • Assisting with Countywide 4-H activities and events
  • Social activities to help retain high school 4-H members
  • Fund raising

In many counties, the County 4-H Leaders' Council or Volunteer Management Organization (VMO) helps to fund Hi 4-H.

Members can even earn a patch and/or medal for their 4-H hat.

Contact your County 4-H Office for more information about Hi 4-H.
